Cathedral class of ISC 1975 and ICSE 1974: 35th Reunion December 20-22 2010

The reunion was just awesome. 3 days of fun that will be another memorable event in my life.

20 Dec - the pre-reunion meet up at Geoffrey's
Ravi Hazari, Vaidehi Dalal (Buddy), Alex Stanic, Dina Wadia, Rohita Chaganlal, Cyrus Patel, Nakul Kamte, Vinay Asar, Patty Codeiro, Yasmine Stafford, Amy Madon, Utpal Kapadia, Mamta Rana, Timmie Chadha, Ila Raiji. There may have been others who arrived after I left. If I've left you out, my apologies.
It was great to catch up with all of you.

Here we are minus Patty and Cyrus who left earlier.

21 - 22 Dec - The Main Event at the Radisson Resort in Alibaug

19 gorgeous gals and guys took speedboat rides across the water (in james bond style) to partake in 2 days of fun and frolic - Vaidehi Dalal (Buddy), Shephali Singhania, Utpal Kapadia, Rajul Parikh, Nasreen Varawalla, Dina Wadia, Alex Stanic, Mamta Rana, Timmie Chadha, Ravi Hazari, Vivek Hurry, Dinesh Mirchandani (our very revered headboy), Viral Doshi, Alin Jayant, Pradip Mirchandani, Bharat Jog, Vinay Asar, Ricky Lamba, Ila Raiji.

And 8 crazy cats belted out the school song on the speedboat on our way back - Shephali, Nasreen, Dina, Viral, Dinesh, Vivek, Vinay, Ila. I mean, how could you go to a reunion and not sing the school song. The words "let it resound to our orient sky" seemed very apt.

the feelthy jokes (thanks Bharat!), - oh you cheeky devil. As they say, still waters run deep.
the school gossip and gupshup and catchup (led by Viral with sterling contributions from all) - we pretty much concluded that the "Jacob" years at Cathedral were the best ever. Viral, a reunion of the co-ed years to the end of the Jacob years will be something to look forward to.

What a wonderful way to reconnect and spend quality time with old friends... thank you all for sharing your lives and secrets - you opened windows that had been kept shut for so long for me, having been away from home for 36 years! I am fortunate to have been a part of the experience and hope to see more of you at the next one in Jaipur in November 2011!
Big Cheers to Buddy for organizing/planning, the generosity of those who did what they did to make our trip more comfortable and special - you know who you are, the entertainers who kept us in splits of laughter and all those who brought various emotions to the fore!

Truly guys ... it was all worth the effort in the end. Am just so glad it all worked out well ... and the most gratifying thing was that everybody had an absolute blast! Nothing can take away from that!
